First of all shark bites work no problem, just wish they didn't cost so much. I bought one new and one used to save money. I know Revane used a shitty arrow sometimes. It was the worst thing I've ever seen. I think someone even pays attention to their profitability. look at my photo It came to me with a pinched twisted piece of copper pipe and dripping solder like they had no idea about the connection and tried to pull the pipe out but it didn't work so they cut it off and sent it back. What a…

IT IS GOOD AND WORKS WELL

It's good and works well. I wanted to add a compressed air outlet to my garage by soldering on lots of copper pipe connections. I cut a 3/4" copper pipe and put this fitting on. Then I put on the end of the 20" pipe. A piece of "PEX" 1/2" is a flexible plastic pipe or -hose on the other end.I routed the PEX up the center pillar in my garage to the new air vent. Now I have an air vent in the center of the garage.Much faster than rigid copper pipe I avoided 20 solder joints on 10 copper fittings…

Amazing fittings for pipe, pipe fittings and accessories

Sharkbite push in fittings they work as advertised and I have had no problems with them. For those of you who are hesitant to use push-in fittings and prefer weld pipe/threaded fittings, I was just like you until I tried them a few years ago. I'm in love with these hardware now and they have allowed me to easily and gradually convert my entire house to PEX without having to make a weld/pin connection, but instead I just move these hardware further around the system and can make a section too a…

SHARKBITE FITTINGS & VALVES

All I can say is that this is the best thing since they invented the wheel! I'm a plumber and very rarely vape pipes now! They can be a bit pricey for valves and such, but it's quick and easy and any homeowner can do most repairs themselves! If using copper tubing remove the plastic inserts with needle nose pliers, but if using plastic tubing leave them in place! I found out about these 5 years after they left the contractor at work and he exploited them for 5 years! He swore on her! It's…

Not 100% tight, but excellent in a pinch.

We had a major burst pipe in our house. I needed to top up some water for daily use and chose this product. It's very easy to use. It's fast, comfortable, no sweat required, and the use of PEX tubing is a huge benefit. I cut our main window, created a timeline and got the toilet working again. Point is, none of that was behind the wall. When water flows through the tubes and hits the shark bite connection, the water flows out of the product. I haven't had any major leaks and dripping into the…

Very easy to use in tight spaces

I have a 1/2 inch bib and need more water. So I ripped out the existing lines and replaced them with 1" and 3/4" CPVC. The breastplate was in a hard-to-reach place. I had to go from 3/4" to 1/2" in a spot I couldn't reach very well with a torch or CPVC glue. It connected the two materials perfectly. It leaked a bit, but that's because I didn't put it all the way in. As soon as I put it all the way in, it stopped flowing. It's just hard for me to believe this will last. I have two of these in a…
