Review on SharkBite Reducing Coupling Connect Copper by Tyrell Hudson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

IT IS GOOD AND WORKS WELL

It's good and works well. I wanted to add a compressed air outlet to my garage by soldering on lots of copper pipe connections. I cut a 3/4" copper pipe and put this fitting on. Then I put on the end of the 20" pipe. A piece of "PEX" 1/2" is a flexible plastic pipe or -hose on the other end.I routed the PEX up the center pillar in my garage to the new air vent. Now I have an air vent in the center of the garage.Much faster than rigid copper pipe I avoided 20 solder joints on 10 copper fittings Most overhead work of stairs PEX becomes typically used for plumbing lines, but it works well for air lines as well.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine
