No problems and works as described.

No problems and works as described. I lubricate the pipe/PEX with some hand soap to ease installation and not damage the seal

Quick and easy access to pipe, fittings and accessories

I don't know why people are against it. . I followed the instructions and installed correctly. 3 years without leaks. The key is cleanliness, deburring sharp edges, and lightly coating the pipe with petroleum jelly.

Oh what a relief!

What a relief! Requires no soldering. No leaks. "Do it yourself" is my motto, but soldering copper tubing is a challenge that I've had but never want to try again. Just remember that the copper pipe should be cut straight and with beveled edges (with a file or sandpaper) to ensure the shark bite slides over it without cutting the o-ring inside.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • So far so good

It does exactly what it's supposed to and makes DIY plumbing easier. In the RV world this is a boon as much of the plumbing is fairly basic but crammed into tiny spaces is what makes it extremely frustrating to get there. Most plumbers and van technicians charge…
