Sharkskin Flat Front Dress Pants For Men By Savane Review

True story---I wore these pants for the best part of a couple of weeks checking them out. My wife commented that my dress appearance has really looked good lately. I do not recall the last time she comploimented me on my clothes. These are well tailored pants. After looking them over carefully and wearing them doing many different activities, I am very pleased with the comfort and style.I noted some people thought they were too small. I would suggest that these folks are buying a size to small.

NOT FLEX-WAIST as advertised and as marked on pants. Our barbershop chorus selected these as our new uniform dress pants and bought approximately 25 pair of pants from various stores and on-line. Great fabric style, color (charcoal). Reasonable price, widely available KOHLS only has up to 40 inch waist. BUT NOT FLEX-WAIST.

Good pants, i like the fabric alot. The only thing I don't like is that I ordered a 34-32. I usually wear a 32-30, but I wanted to leave some room for the tailor to adjust just in case I gained a few pounds, or if the legs needed hemmed up differently for some reason. Anyway my point is, that the waist was 34, fit perfect, the legs were cut for a giant. They were at least 6 inches too long, actually after being hemmed the original end is half way up my calf. I am quickly learning this brand is one of best. I purchased first pair from expensive men's store but now get them on amazon at half the price. My wife loves the easy care.

Slacks are made of very nice material, washes nice. Legs were too long but that was our fault, ordered wrong length. I put in a hem, and they look very nice.order size 50 waist and 30inch length, my husband says he likes the feel of the fabric.He has a bad back, and the waist does not pull or pinch.

I love these pants, but they do tend to run just a bit small in the waist. I am right at 50 inches in the waist (unless my tape measure is off, which I doubt) and these pants are just a little snug. I don't know if that's the elastic in the waistband or not. That doesn't detract from their overall fit and style.

These are great pants for the price. My husband has worn this brand & style for years. They wash, dry and hold up well. Hope they never discontinue this style!

Nice material, well constructed. They wash and dry well, with no ironing as long as they're removed from the dryer and hung right away. The pockets are a little small for my taste (my cell phone is difficult to get out of the pocket in a hurry). Overall a fair value.

I had the same experience as others who have rated these pants. Most off the rack pants I buy with a 30" inseam actually measure out at about 29 1/2 (which fit me fine). These measured out at over 30 1/2, and puddled around my feet. Since they don't have a shorter inseam in my waist size, I will have to pay to have them tailored, which rather negates the good price. They seem otherwise well made.

My husband loves the look and fit of Savane slacks. I recently purchased the sharkskin dress slacks for him in light gray and he's very pleased with them.

The fabric and color are great. Loose fit more than what I expected. There is no flexi waist as advertised. That's my review!

I have put these dress pants through the laundry several times and have been wearing them to work and can say I am extremely pleased with them! I normally wear a 32x32 pant size and that is what I purchased, and they fit wonderfully. Almost as if they were tailored specifically for me. After wearing them for the day I find they still do not need to be ironed. The material feels great to wear as well. I highly recommend these to anyone.

Be advised these are long in the leg and a regular slack rise, so might want to order one half size to full size larger in waist so as not to be too tight especially when you bend.

These are great slacks, but for some reason the length was about an 1 1/2" long. I'll have them tailored up. Very good gray color that works with black or light tan shoes. Great value from Savane, as always.

These wrinkle-free dress pants are great for the young professional who doesn't have the time or money to dry clean his work pants and needs slacks that he can "wash and wear" and still look professional. The pants are not too lightweight to not be worn in all seasons. I will adapt my review if we find that these don't wear well during our Illinois winter. I am always Leary when buying clothes on line. However I was very pleased with the look and feel of these dress pants. If I were to see these on the store I would think 50$ or higher. Very good buy, in fact I am buying 2 additional pairs. Fit is wonderful.

I ordered 38 x 30 expandable waistband. I received 40 X 30 conventional waistband. but the 40 fits like a 38 and both the cut of the crotch and the leg "dress" are comfortable, notwithstanding the stated measurement of the waist. So I lucked out, and I like the material but the pockets are unusually shallow for SAVANE products. That is disappointing.

Pants fit really well in the waste, but a little longer than a normal 32 in length. I would definitely purchase again. Pants.

I received these pants the other day and can't believe the quality for the price of these pants. I would expect these pants to be $90-$100 in a department store. Very comfortable with a clean and professional look. Will be buying more Savane pants in the future.
