Ok this is a great little tool, I do a lot of fine work, jewelry scales so a small heavy duty belt sander makes a great workshop tool. I wanted to make it, but this block is cheaper than parts. Arrived a day early! This grinder works very well. It's small enough to be used for deburring Dremel parts, musical instruments, etc. It is silent and has a variable speed controlled by the power supply. (I think only 7.) Arrived fully assembled and ready to use. It was fairly easy to change out the belts to use a different grit. (Wife even used fine nail dust!) The tilting platform is handy for small knives and has a beveled edge in some places. I rarely use sandpaper or files now. Bought some

No spring to adjust belt tension, that's a lie! The whole machine was scratched, you can enlarge the picture posted by the seller (it's all scratched, so they don't have the right equipment to make this machine.) If you are thinking of using this machine for fine grinding or polishing, please sanding belts order extra as I received all 600 grit (not as advertised). I use 1000 grit and up for gunsmiths.
