Sharp and pointed. I use these scissors to cut the threads when embroidering. They are just right for machine embroidery.

Fairly sharp but not cutting. The blades don't converge closely enough to cut at all. They just chew my cuticles and don't cut them.

These are high-quality scissors with perfect workmanship. I have no complaints about the product, everything corresponds to the description. They are sharp and the blades match perfectly. I only wish they were smaller too (2.5 inches) (that's 3.5) as I was looking for a pair of scissors to replace my 2.5 inches and this is the size that works best for me . But they are so good that I will use them too!
