They worked great for what I needed them for.

I was hoping that the wires would go in a straight line (not very visible in the photo), but they are slightly offset. I hate tiered ones so I was disappointed when I first opened the bag but they were kind of halfway between the ones I hate and the ones I like so they weren't that bad. I haven't had any problems with them. They worked fine. Luckily. We were at work when I opened the package so it would be a great shame if they weren't correct. ๐Ÿฅด

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • security

Sometimes you get what you pay for

I use 100 RJ45 jacks and they are the worst I've tried. They have no leads, so it's easy to mix up pairs or fail by inserting wires. And once sealed, the wires stretch. Very disappointed. Put me in a difficult position at work. Luckily I had a Cat6 RJ45 bag with me.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Can damage

Get a connector that is flush for twisted pair cables, not offset.

The scrap metal on the RJ45 plug doesn't always cut into the cables when it's cut. Spent quite a bit for the trimming process. The twisted pair cable slots are staggered (top and bottom) and not flat, making it difficult to place the twisted pair cables in place.

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • Almost never

Simple, works with most compression tools.

I work with CAT5-E and CAT6 and they work great. I can insert pairs and crimp with most compression tools with no problem. The best feature is the internal guides to help you do this easily. 100% better than the accessory guide that needs to be placed in front of the connector itself. This avoids the need for this extra step.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Long time

Well IF you connect regularly.

Connectors are excellent. Excellent quality. However, if you are a beginner I would recommend pass-through connectors. These connectors require some experience to correctly connect. I made and redid the connections, thinking the wires were in the correct order, but found that they weren't checked properly. (You really need a cable tester!)

Pros
  • Excellent general properties
Cons
  • I won't say anything
