I liked the new rubber grip for comfort but the cut.

Was hoping the ink window would be smoother. I liked the new rubber grip for its comfort, but the cutout makes it awkward to hold the grip while trying to stay away from the sharp edges of the window. The handle seems a bit thinner than it used to be (maybe because of the notch?). Scheaffer tips are better than ever. All of my pens are from Scheaffer, but this one was a little disappointing.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not the best choice for true calligraphers

These pens are not suitable for calligraphy teaching. The nibs are too wide and too much ink oozes out of the pen, making a clear and fine upward stroke impossible. The ink is also water-based, giving the effect of a dull and muted pigment. These pens are good for people who aren't interested in perfecting calligraphy but might prefer a slightly more vintage look to their correspondence. Do not buy if you want to improve your calligraphy skills. This will lead to disappointment.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • There are flaws

What to write now. good for calligraphy pens

This was a good set for beginning calligraphers. I have little reason to compare the quality as I've never done this before, but the instructions were easy to follow and assembly was quick. However, the largest pen bled all over my fingers and paper (and never dried on paper) so I stopped using it after a while. We have so much fun with this that we post it when friends come over and everyone loves to write little tidbits and you are left with weird sayings written in many unique handwritings…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some problems

A decent starter set with pens and nibs that are forgiving to a beginner. The nibs are of course glued to the body of the holder so they can't be swapped out, and the kit includes a variety of colors and extra ink cartridges for more writing. The downside is that I get medium-wide grip leaks almost every day, no matter how careful I am. In addition, the cost of plastic and almost disposable pens is a bit high, while professional calligrapher pens are cheaper. The book, on the other hand, is a…

I'm a little disappointed with the set

I'm a little disappointed with the set. I don't know if it's the ink or the paper, but it's spreading quite a bit. I'm sure it's partly my fault as I'm still a little slow doing the segments. I tried better paper and it didn't bleed as much. They have a good selection of colors so you can try a few. I checked, the ink cartridges are available in many colors here at Revain. There is a converter for using bottled ink. The set is serviceable, but it's one of those 'you get what you pay for'. For a

All good fountain pens don't require much pressure on the paper

I don't know why some people here have complained about pen bleed. You must write with it carefully. THIS IS A FOUNTAIN PEN, not a ballpoint pen, and should be treated as such. Possibly use a 45 degree position and smooth strokes on the paper. All good fountain pens do not require hard pressure on the paper. it said. This pen has a very elegant pleasant ash blue color. I got this 1mm head because 1.5 is too "heavy". He's doing his job. It's cheap and it's a little window to see how much ink is…
