A good and cheap replacement for wooden shelves.

Although wooden shelving would be ideal, this product is relatively easy to install and solves the problem of storing small items. Make sure you flip it so it lays flat and measure it a little shorter so you can slide it with your tongues for the best fit.

Great for organizing closets and drawers

I hate wire pantry shelves. We replaced them in our old house but just moved to a new location with wire shelving. I've used all sorts of improvised things in the past to keep things from falling off the shelves, but this was a lot easier. Easy to use and install. Doesn't collapse when you have items on top. Easy to wash and stay in place.

Very easy to install. It takes a few days for it to level off.

These shelf inserts are a great way to keep items out of the gaps between shelf rails. The liners were fairly easy to cut to size and install on a shelf. Please note that books or other items must be placed on the insert immediately, otherwise the insert will open and roll up. But after a few days with items placed on it, the liner unfolds beautifully and stays in place even if you remove the items on top.

Looks great. Terrible to install.

Good hard plastic. We would have worked except the perforated holes are not fully clamped. I had to fight each one, sometimes with a blade, to make the shape pop out. After the first four holes to hold it in place, it starts to pull back a lot, so after about 30 inches the slots are about halfway from where they should be. So I have two shelves, the left half looks great, the right half won't stay down because the handles aren't in the right place.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • There are problems

It's on a Shelf - Organizing Closets and Drawers

Pretty brilliant review title don't you think? Well I wasn't thrilled with this product. That's why. The first thing I liked was that it was about 3/16 inch wider than my shelves so it didn't exactly fit on every shelf. My shelves are 48 inches long and 12 inches wide, and the bars on the top of the shelf run the full length of the shelf. Luckily, it was flexible enough that once loaded, it settled onto the wires most of the time, with just a small hook at the top of the rear rail. The next…

Not suitable for lengths over 4ft

We purchased this for use in our new home as all the cabinets come with wire shelving. When my wife and I started installing it, the first 3 feet or so allowed the tabs to slide through the shelves to lock it in place. After that, the tabs couldn't push them down. We tried "stretching" and smoothing out the material, but after about 4 feet we couldn't install the extra locking tabs - they just didn't fit together. Most of the shelves we have are over 4 feet long. We decided to use as much as…
