Potters Ribs are essential tools for throwing clay on the wheel, hand building or sculpting. Small Bowl Ribs are designed to give as many radius sweeps on the clay as possible. They are made with a stiff polymer but still offer some flexibility. Color of rib dictates level of firmness. 5 inches x 2 inches . Made in USA!.

PLEASANT SURPRISE

Loved the shape for large pots. It would be nice to have a similar shape in a harder, thinner scratch material in larger pots.

Tools AWESOME

Sherrill Mudtools are the best tools for shaping and compressing clay. I use them every time I throw or hand build. They're a little pricey, but they're worth it.

Wow! I keep reaching for this tool even when I'm NOT making bowls. You can find just the curve you need for almost anything! Sturdy and well made, like all Mudtools products!
