The conductors don't slide like a regular pass-through connector like Platinum Tools

. How painful. They don't easily let regular 23 AWG wire through. I got around this by stripping the conductors enough to feed the bare copper and carefully pulling the wires through with needle nose pliers. Save money and use the Platinum Tools version. It's about $80 for Revain, but well worth it.

Very difficult to insert wires

I was hoping the straight through style of this connector would make installation easier. I was wrong. The CAT6 TPS signal lines were very difficult to push through the connector due to the slightly thicker insulation of the CAT6 signal lines. I generally pushed enough wires through the connector that I could later grab it with pliers and pull it through. I bought a special crimping/cutting tool that rubbed salt into the wound. Tricks to make it work include making a very clean and straight cut

Do Not Recommend: Computers and Accessories

I had a very hard time crimping these connectors correctly, the other, the cable kept failing the test showing a short between 1 and 2. On the original connector switched, no more problems. I disabled at least 12 of them due to poor testing.

Saved my marriage. the best cables and connectors

my husband instructed me to find connectors for cat7 cables. After ordering and returning 4 different types and risking Amazon canceling my Prime, I finally found THIS one. They have these little channels that lead the wires to the holes. Just awesome. My husband thinks I'm great. I don't know why it took him 27 years to figure it out.

High quality equipment but not designed for 23ga conductors.

Disappointed that I couldn't use them on the Cat6 shielded burial cable I bought. Just too tight to use with 23ga wire. My cheap wire worked fine. Bought shielded copper wire to mount a tower camera next to a transmitting antenna and these connectors looked perfect for the job.
