-- above all, it's not that difficult. front, but at this level the hub, rim and spokes aren't much cheaper than a finished wheel from any wheelhouse. However, I am happy with my builds on Deore hubs and Rhyno Lite rims.

I bought this hub and converted the front wheel of my Hyper Cruiser to have front disc brakes. After I added the motor, the rear brakes just weren't enough! (Almost behind the car) now with a disc in front holds up well. The knitting needles weren't as difficult to lace up as I thought and they've been working great for over a year and nearly a thousand miles!

Got this for a beach cruiser that I converted to accept disc brakes. The price was quite reasonable and the brand is praised by most good local bike shops. There is nothing wrong with these Shimano hubs. They are machined to match details like the disc rotors and my new fork and appear to be of good quality. The bearings could have been lubricated better because they were a bit stiff but a heck of a lot smoother than my old non-disc brake hub. I plan to replace the quick release with a bolt-on…
