Works as advertised.

Beautiful chain. With help I was able to find a steel ring of this size as aluminum wears out quickly (lasts 10,000km, I would expect twice as much as steel?).

Great buy under $15.

My old 34 tooth sprocket has done about 40,000 miles so it improved my transmission a lot. I use this on an old home bum with a 2x6 transmission and the flimsy 10 speed ring causes no problems.

Compact Cycling Chainring

Fast shipping, good price, item as described. The old standard 140mm bolt circle diameter (BCD) can fit the 39 tooth sprocket as the smallest option. The new 110mm standard allows for smaller chainrings up to around 32 teeth. This will work with almost any gearing as long as the crank has a 110mm BCD. "10-speed" means it is compatible with chains designed for 10-speed transmissions. It works well with 7-speed chains, for example.

I have a Praxis Works crank on a 2015 Specialized Roubaix SL4 Comp Disc. This is an 11 speed setup. I wasn't sure if a) the chainring timing would work with practice and b) it would work with 11-speed. For $10 I decided it was worth the risk. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to chain without any problems with this setup. It is important to note that Shimano timestamps are different from Praxis ones, i.e. the new star's timestamp does not match the (larger) Praxis star, but has the…
