Don't skimp on the brakes!

In order to save some money, I decided on a third-party brand. What mistake! Slowly stops noisy after a few hundred miles. Not worth it, buy dissertations and get rid of the hassle.

Pros
  • Brake pads
Cons
  • Doubtful

Just my opinion - Cycling

If you stop abruptly that's great. If you ride a lot of braking, resin is the way to go to improve "modulation". I know some riders who have metal in the front and resin in the back.

Pros
  • Bike brakes and parts
Cons

Original and good price, sold out everywhere

It was a genuine Shimano brand, untouched and exactly what you would buy in a bike shop for the same price, even with shipping. Pretty good deal for something you can't find.

Pros
  • Parts and components
Cons
  • Appearance

Solid brakes for cycling

Work well and always more than enough for our ride. I never felt like I really needed additional cooling fins to the next level up. New pads have greatly changed braking performance.

Pros
  • Brake parts
Cons
  • Working speed

The best e-bike pads

When I ride an electric MTB that goes over 50 km/h with ease, I need good pads to slow me down. Those discs plus hydraulic brakes do the trick. No noise, no creaking, good grip, especially in the rain, definitely holds up.

Pros
  • Sport
Cons
  • Expensive

Much stronger brakes

Only the front brakes were replaced as they wore out (probably due to lift maintenance) and they were much stronger than the OEM. I also had to upgrade the rear end to keep it balanced while riding. After a bit of getting used to them they are great and now I only need one finger to brake but I still use two for better control.

Pros
  • Sport & Outdoor
Cons
  • Safety
