Cheap pens. - Parts and components

The cotter pins supplied are cheap. I would not recommend it. I've never been able to get these pads to stay right on my MTB. brand change.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Installed on a 15 year old Specialized FatBoy, works great!

I used these on my 15 year old Specialized FatBoy and they work great. I mostly ride this bike in the snow, even when it's a bit wet it works great. I had no trouble squeaking with them. I would buy them again. tractor, phil.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Arrived and worked great.

This was the first time I replaced these pads but they matched the original perfectly. Easy to install, a bit noisy for the break-in period, but after that I've ridden 12+ miles with lots of steep descents and they work great and are quiet.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Perfect replacement

Best replacement for original Shimano BO1S I've found! Often sold out because Shimano used such a generic design, they actually work better than OEMPS: My local bike shop was charging $35 per axle for a replacement. NO LONGER! I would however. We recommend using the Parks caliper spreader tool as it makes the replacement a lot easier. Buy a tool + these pads and still come out a lot cheaper than a bike shop!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Decent grip, easy installation

Changed pads on the M315 on my commuter/light trail bike. The old pads howled and had very little grip. The new replacement devices work great. The other day, rapid braking did not allow me to decorate the hood of a Mercedes. So happy with the performance. They may not be the most durable, but they work well in the varied conditions of my year-round commute, where I feel metal pads would be all but useless in freezing temperatures.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Changed quickly, everything in the bag.

The kit contains everything you need to change the brakes on your mountain bike. My child drove hard and the brakes were completely worn out. In general, replacing isn't too difficult, and you can find plenty of YouTube videos that show you how to do it if you have any questions. They seemed to be of pretty good quality and so far they have held up and for the price they are better than the LBS if you have the tools and skills.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Would buy again. But they aren't the best.

They're not the best, but they're not the worst either. I bought these with new rotors and they didn't quite live up to my expectations, but they work enough that I don't regret the purchase. I would recommend them if you want the brakes to work and stop you in time. And yes, they will lock up your wheels. But it won't block my front. (Although I don't want that) but they do their job. They squeak a little but after a few uses it goes away.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete
