Squeak stopped

My bike was squeaking and I've been trying to tighten, replace, shut down and pray for everything in the drivetrain. As a result, I replaced the skewer with this one and the squeaking was gone. (Now not happy with Bontrager.) Not all in the bottom bracket.

Great for horizontal dropouts

Has an old frame with horizontal dropouts and the quick release that comes with the wheels just can't hold the wheel tight enough to prevent it from rolling into the frame no matter how tight the quick release is is was. Read more about internal cams and decided to give it a try before spending 2 or 3 times more on Dura Ace or Campy. That works great.

Rear Wheel Slip Fixed

My rear wheel kept slipping forward on my restored 1980's steel frame bike with forward dropouts. The rear wheels seem to slide forward in the dropout under heavy pedaling, a common problem with older frames. Basically, the newer outer cams don't clamp with enough force to lock the rear wheels in the forward-facing dropouts. This old-school internal cam spit did the trick.
