🔌 SHIMANO Ultegra Di2 Junction Box with Internal Routing Review

I have decided to build my new race bike using Di2 electronics. I didn't want to spend $1,500 on a kit right away, so I bought one component at a time. Everything fitted well, all components work perfectly. I highly recommend this product.

There is not much to say about this junction box. This is a required part for installation. This makes it easy to tuck into the seat tube or down tube to hide. I added styrofoam insulation around the edges to keep the inside of the tubes quieter.

Once you switch to Di2 you won't want to go back, although I'll wait to see if Shimano follows suit with Scram and goes wireless. They should also focus on mountain bikes when launching new products and not just keep us waiting by showcasing road bikes.

If you're looking to route Di2 wiring inside the frame, this is the part you need. The photo shows a box with an external mount, but I received an inner box. Simply remove the handle, connect the 4 cables, put them back into the frame tube, reinstall the protective cover and handle, done. A very clean shifting perfection setup!
