I bought these to replace the road wheels currently used in my Shimano derailleur. Haven't used them yet Both wheels have sealed bearings, no plastic hub/sleeve.

It only took a few minutes to replace them with stock idler pulleys in my new short cage Shimano 7000 Series 105 11-speed rear derailleur. They are noticeably softer in the hand and when pedaling. Great little cheap upgrade.

My bike was getting very difficult to pedal and I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Then a friend noticed that the chain was jumping off the rollers and rubbing against the rear derailleur mount. It was such a simple and inexpensive solution. The only tool you need is an allen wrench.

I don't know why but the bearings on all the wheels of the Ultegra derailleur pulley are very very stiff. Original Tiagra wheels are worn and have side play. This leads to inaccurate shifting, or that annoying situation where it shifts up significantly but doesn't go down and vice versa after you set it. Ultegra wheels have sealed bearings for more precise alignment. After installation and a bit of tweaking to get it set up properly, all of my layers are accurate, fast, and accurate. Good repair for little money.
