Broke after about 80 miles. Correctly installed with external seal. Interestingly it broke 2 links from the link to the pin. I fixed it with another needle, let's see how long it lasts.

Fits full XT transmission. Grips well and shifts smoothly. Please note this is a directional chain and the chain decals face outwards. Connected to 10-way KMC Master Link. Durability is updated.

Inexpensive. If you're not a "mechanic" then just watch the instruction video closely and get yourself a good quality chain tool. Luckily the chain never broke for me, it lasts a long time if you shift carefully. Don't forget to clean and oil it frequently.

Great chain upgrade from stock. easy to install with very smooth effect. I'm only giving it four stars because I find the use of the plug pin a bit archaic and outdated. The price was right and expect it to last as long as the latest Shimano chain, around 2 seasons with moderate use (2-3 rides a week).

Chain has lasted me 6 months, 3000 miles. Great chain with smooth shifts. From now on I will only use XT level components. The ONLY problem is that the chain will break if the pin is not adjusted properly. A spare pen is no longer supplied. In my experience these are all five stars; very decent clothes and for me it also showed a very decent performance. Combined with its price, at least here at Revain when I bought it, it turned out to be a definitely good buy. No problems with the drivetrain, or at least those directly related to the chain.
