Very good ruler in Rulers

If you've ever tried to cut something with a utility knife using a standard steel ruler, you know the results may not be shiny and your fingertips are very good Danger. This line is designed for such things. Due to the extrusion it is very stiff. The cutting edge is smooth and straight. It's wide enough to keep your fingers out of harm's way. And most importantly, the rubber pad prevents it from moving mid-cut. I've used it on leather and paper with both circle cutters and traditional X-Acto…

Pros
  • Has a hanging hole for easy storage
Cons
  • No power

EXCELLENT so far on measuring and marking tools

I lost my 18 inch stainless steel ruler which I used primarily as a ruler for cutting material. He would bend a lot. I got it for 24 inches. It's very fleshy, flat and true. I really expected the whole thing to be bent due to transportation. The foam backing is perfect, not too thick like the obligatory stainless steel rulers, and stays in place. I could see where to clean it when it lost its stickiness. from dust etc. I can make very long straight cuts and this ruler stays straight and flat…

Pros
  • Markings graduated in 1/16
Cons
  • Discontinued

measure twice. Damn, measure all the time.

I have had many rulers over the years. wood, steel, aluminium. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. I like aluminum best for its lightness and the ability to recycle 100% of the material at the end of the product life cycle. The main disadvantage of aluminum rulers is the fact that aluminum itself is a very soft and malleable metal. If you don't take proper care of them and hang or store them in a specific place after each use, they may bend or wrinkle. Also, other aluminum rulers
