Description of 🔌 SHONSIN 6 Gauge Silicone Wire - Ultra Flexible 6 AWG Copper Wire - High Temperature Resistant - 100 Amps, 600V Rating - 10ft Red & 10ft Black Separated

★【6AWG Silicone Wire】6 Gauge Wire 10ft Red & 10ft Black ( Separated ) All gauge silicone wire available in Shonsin amazon store from 6 gauge to 26 gauge. ★【100% OFC Copper Conductor】6 AWG Wire Oxygen Free Copper conductor features wonderful conductivity, Current Rating: 100 Amp, Voltage Rating: 600Vac. ★【Ultra Flexible】 The combination of 2680 strands 0.08mm copper conductor (13.47mm2) & silicone insulator yields the most flexible wire construction. Extreme Soft 6 Gauge Silicone Wire is ideal with applications where routing a wire through a tight space is required such as, box builds, equipment, or handheld devices and has excellent weather-ability. ★【Silicone Insulator】 Resists high & low temperature, water, oil, chemicals and abrasion. Compared to Thermoplastic material (like PVC), silicone insulation will not melt when exposed to high temperatures. If the insulation melts, this may cause a short circuit which is very dangerous. ★【Resistant High & Low Temperature】6 AWG Wire standard temperature range is -60°C to 200°C. In most applications, it may be heated from 180 to 200°C continuously and is also very flexible at extremely low temperatures (stiffening temperature of approximately -115°C).

Very flexible and well soldered.

I used this cable to solder some cables for my lipo charger. It was easy to work with him. It has a nice thick silicone sleeve that is very flexible. It is very easy to solder and tolerates heat well. It also came in a nice resealable bag that I was able to reuse to store my remaining supplies. I would definitely buy this again.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Discontinued model

High-quality high-temperature wire!

The series relays in my electric range are blown. This is quite normal for a 30-year-old stove. When fried, they burned the insulation of the element's conductors. As an extra precaution, I've decided to rewire the oven with silicone wire instead of THHN next time. Of course, next time will probably be in someone else's life.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Well made wire and easy to solder

Great for my Raspberry Pi car project. I like braided wire because it solders well. The wire is wound on a spool, which is convenient for wire storage. Easy to use. Heat resistant as this is important when soldering as the wire will not wrinkle when soldering. I recommend this as I am wiring projects for my crimson cars and the wire is perfect.

Very nice, very flexible.

Loved the flexibility of the silicone jacket, and of course the 8 AWG cable has enough current carrying capacity (uses a 12v electric winch on a horsebox). However, given the choice, I would prefer the inner solder core to be 20-30 smaller wires than 150-180 smaller wires. In the end it probably doesn't matter, but I find that larger gauge wires are easier to crimp and solder.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Excellent wire!: Car audio and video installation

Very uniform in size, conducts well, very well soldered, very soft and flexible. All in all, it's a great option for light caliber requirements. The only mistake I made was not reading every word of the description. I bought red and black assuming it was a double strand. That's a completely separate wire. I mean, they rolled black, then they rolled red. My mistake, I can't use for intended project without shrinking first. My fault aside (which is clearly stated in the description) this is a…

Amazing quality, super flexible.

SHONSIN 6 AWG: More flexible than a 98lb Olympic gymnast, ultra-fine/twisted pure copper strands make this cable extremely easy to bend without kinking. You can literally tie it in a knot without damaging the cord. The only downside, and not really a downside compared to what you see, is that they pack so many strands into the cable that it's difficult to get the bare copper into the 6AWG connector end if you peel the silicon off a bit and unpack the copper a little very carefully. and patient.

Pros
  • Power and Ground Wire
Cons
  • No Instructions

Amazing flexibility

Purchased to make a coil on plug (COP) ignition system for a classic V4 motorcycle. I needed 16ga wire to drive the coils, but I was intrigued by the advertised flexibility because the wire harness made would have to go through the frame of the bike. I was amazed at how flexible this wire is. Floppy is just a word. My finished wiring harness had red and black spacers through the 1/4 inch braid and it was like snake rope through the tiny holes in the sheath to get from the spark drive unit to…
