This is a 44.00 cross slide, not a high end professional vise. I bought these for my drill press and so far they have worked well with no issues. . You can't beat him for money. The ones in HF were too big for my 8" drill, so I went with this 3" drill. I had to alter how I installed it as it's about an inch too long for my abs, but it works great.
