Where have you been! I didn't know it existed. Hooray!

These are excellent scissors! I don't cut thick materials so I don't know how it works with the maximum listed, but I cut 14 gauge sheet metal very well. It's a little tricky to keep a long straight line, but I cut a 5 foot strip out of an 11 inch sheet myself. There probably should have been someone to help keep the ends going, but nobody's there when you need them, so I'm very impressed with us. me and scissors

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not reliable

I've just returned one of Generic's "3mm" rotary shears. I'm pretty sure it will that the frame is accidentally bent on the rotor. It couldn't even cut a 3mm thick sheet of mild steel. Start with some effort. Makes 2mm with more ease. Says it will be 4.7mm (3/16") do. I am wondering about. 3mm is hard enough.

Pros
  • . Pleasing
Cons
  • Legacy

These scissors and I think others who like them may say they cut 1/8 inch or thicker, but if that's what you're buying them for I wouldn't recommend them. I used it the other day to cut a 4" x 1/8" flat bar of mild steel. I'm 6ft 220lbs and it wasn't easy from the start. To compound the problem, he placed the curve across the width of the flat bar and right on the edge of the right-going piece. It's ok if it's a fork, but not if you're trying to use it. This may be fine for thin, 22-18ga, etc.,

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here
