i was trying to make due with a micromark shear, and it would not cut anything! I am able to use the shop fox shear now to cut thin metal and printed circuit board material. It struggles with thicker stock, and with a full 12" long .062" pcb board you would have to wail on that handle-the handle is a little too short for the proper force to be applied. This sheet metal machine is made in china and has all of the machined and cast parts finishing that I would expect from something you'd get from Harbor Freight and as a result, I found myself finishing a few rough edges and fussing with the fitting of parts. I finally got around to setting it up and trying it out. This is a great product for the price. So far it seems well made. Other than spending like 2 hours getting the wax/grease off. this is a perfect tool for my small robot projects. Need a bracket - slice the aluminum and bend to your needs. First delivery was damaged in shipment. Return for new one was fairly painless. Second one arrived in good shape, but with most of the bolts loose. It is coated with a protective goo (rust inhibitor) that needs cleaning off, so I guess having all the bolts loose helps with getting it apart for cleaning. Don't try to use it before getting it cleaned up, tightened & adjusted.it won't work (very well). Once I had it adjusted & tightened, I tried to cut .010 stainless steel (302 full hard sheet)…

I was excited to get this system, but once I received it the excitement turned to disappointment. First of all the unit arrived damaged. One knob was broken, the top cover was bent and scratched, the shear it always getting out of adjustment. Keeping the metal straight when bending is a challenge. The overall construction is good, but the functionality stinks. If it wasn't going to be such a hassle to pack in the crate again; I would be sending it back.

It works well for my needs. I use it to form components for fishing lures, and small metal craft items. Requires frequent maintenance.

The machine needs to be constantly adjusted just about everywhere to produce acceptable bends and cuts. I never used the roller function. The product lasted through about 40 bends of 24 AWG sheet metal before the large black cast bracket on one side cracked right in half. Cheap product. If you are looking for reliability and ease of use spend the extra 500-1000 to find a decent used machine.

Arrived in horribly damaged crate with three bolts missing and one know damaged and a large dent in the cover. Obviously not new. Rolling mill is difficult to adjust and not accurate at all. Folding brake is ok, but will only do a 90 degree angle. Sheer is awful cant manage to make more than a dent in 26 ga brass, will cut pieces of 24 ga copper if they're less than an inch or so long. Absolutely awful, and a complete waste of money.

This was broken in shipment but the broken piece revealed a very low grade cast iron. Also this was packaged in a cardboard box which wasn't sufficient for a heavy machine.
