Review on Shop Fox M1052 3-In-1 Sheet Metal Machine, 12-Inch by Alex Panda

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Basic 3-in-1 Machine, But Arrived Broken Loose In Crate.

If you do not have a light sheet metal rolling mill, a brake (for folding/creasing thin sheet metal), or a sheet (thin) metal shear, then this 3-in-1 machine will give you an entry-level version of all three. That said, it get s just 3 stars instead of 4 because the machine arrived in a wooden crate (45 kilograms, 100 pounds) loose and rattling around: the two meager lag bolts (they should've used 4) had long torn loose from the wood crate bottom, and the inside of the crate was hammered and splintered from the cast-iron machine banging around. That is *not* what you want to see when opening up machinery. Also, it was covered in cosmoline (expected) imbued with sawdust and wood chips (not expected) from the shredded crate interior. Further, the two Slip Roll Adjustment Knobs were each shattered, knocked off their respective threaded shafts, with the pieces rattling around loose in the crate. If you get this machine, you'll need to assemble the handles and such, and be ready to spend an hour cleaning it up inside and out before you can use it. Once up and running, it passes muster if you need the basic functions. OK for the price.
