🔧 Performance Dacron Shop Vac 901 15 00 Review

Purchased for filter 917816, advertised as having but does not fit. I didn't read the previous reviews before purchasing, so mine is bad. I wish Revain had a way to flag items that don't match before ordering them.

Bought this at the store for 10 gallons. Bought to fit a cartridge for extra filtration but it didn't fit. It is designed to be mounted on a foam filter which I never use. I use either white or blue cartridges depending on the expected level of filtration. The list of websites does not explain this limitation. i will return it

It would help if instead of "fits most shop vacuums" some dimensions were given as it was too small for mine. My filter is 7.25" in diameter and 6.5" in height and will not fit. It seems easy to ensure the maximum diameter and length of this filter. Revain gave me my money back so I'm wasting my time.

The item I received is the original branded vacuum bag. It was packaged in Poly Shop Vac branded packaging with the Shop Vac logo. This is the perfect filter that fits my industrial vacuum perfectly. I'm glad I ordered from this company. Great product at an unbeatable price! Buyers beware: there are many sellers on Amazon who sell white label Vac Store branded filters - if you receive one without the official Vac Store package, report those sellers.

Genie 1995 5 gallon model 300 pcs. No bag or foam ring and dust bubbles. I took a chance and ordered this bag. It fits great and no more dust. See fig. My vacuum cage measures 5" top, 4" bottom and 6" long. The top of the bag has a rubber elastic opening of about 3" fits snugly in a 5" cage, does not require a rubber band and is not included. Length about 7". The material is like a nylon bag. The vacuum cleaner works well with the bag, the suction power is not reduced. Very satisfied.

I have a very old (Montgomery Ward!) vacuum cleaner for the shop. Even with a cleaned foam filter, it spews dust every time you turn it on, which isn't much fun when working with wood. It's getting harder and harder to find paper filters (reasonably priced) to cover the foam and this product did the trick. I like it because not only does it cover the foam, but it is long enough to attach to the plastic above the foam. And because it's Dacron, I can leave it on if I'm vacuuming something wet…

This will not quite fit a 16 gallon craft filter like 9-17912. It's too short to cover the entire length of the filter, leaving about an inch open. For me it's better than nothing. I don't film anything for this reason - just letting you know. Appears to be well made, but the end is stitched and you must be careful not to tear this stitching when reinserting/removing. To me, this is better than using panty hose and MUCH better than killing a new filter in 10 minutes from fine sawdust or drywall

I bought this as a result of a pop up recommendation from Revain without reading it in full. I assumed (wrongly) that it came with the main filter I ordered, but that's not the case. It's too tight and it took a few minutes to put it through the filter and then it only covers the bottom 80%. This left the top of the filter open, which doesn't help much. Because of this bag my 3 year old Shop-Vac 12 gallon 5.5 hp. behave strangely! The float rises when I turn on the shop vacuum. Why is this? The float is in perfect condition. I lifted this bag to my lips and could barely air it out. I'm not a weak person, I'm a 33 year old male who works in construction. The child could not blow any air through the bag at all. Should I contact Shop-Vac to see if my bag is in poor condition? The float never goes up in my vacuum unless someone knocks the vacuum…
