🧹 Shop Vac 9066100 5.8 Gallon Collection Pieces Review

These are Type E bags from Shop-Vac. I don't know why they avoid that detail in the product title and description. I used it as a replacement for a type H bag which after some research turned out to be the same size. The difference seems to be that the Type H bag is for wet and dry cleaning, while the Type E bag is for dry use only. It seems thinner than the Type H bag I just replaced, but so far so good.

This year I did a lot of renovations and bought more expensive HD earphones outside. I figured I could save some money by using them. Of the 6 bags purchased, 5 were torn during use (not during installation). The 6th snapped while dumping. The filter paper is very thin and brittle and seems to break prematurely when filled. I strongly advise against this product.

Absolutely the best and the "ONLY" place to get these if you have vacuum storage, 3 pack - bad never had a problem with these, great price. Goes well with my now discontinued 5 gallon ShopVac SS11-450 (5986000). The pouch is quite awkward to install but once placed on the intake deflector it stays in place and works well. When you're vacuuming up smaller (dry) dirt, the filter bag helps keep dust from splattering all over the place. We have three Shop Vacs that our family uses and they all use these 5-8 gallon bags. They never attacked me unless we were careless and kept the car clean inside. They are flexible enough to hold a large vacuum for regular use.
