Description of Shoulder Finish Tolerance Diameter Threads

Shoulder Screws reduce rotation through locking. Alloy Steel is one of the strongest materials used in fasteners, making this an ideal material to use when the primary concern is the application pulling apart. Socket cap head fasteners are very common in industrial applications. Drive system is a hexagon-shaped hole. Coarse threads are better for brittle materials, and will assemble and disassemble more quickly than fine threads.
