Great heated grips for your Gold Wing!

Great set of heated grips for your GL1800. You get new grips, not just heating elements. On an earlier GL1800 like mine from 2003 it plugs and play into the heating circuit. Easy installation. They are slightly thicker than the standard handle.

but otherwise great. The only real knock is the glue.

These work well and plug straight into the original connector on my 2003 Goldwing GL1800. The grips are a bit larger (approximately) than I prefer, but other than that they're great. The only real hit was that the glue was very difficult to get out of the supplied bottle.

Bought for driving in temperatures below 30 degrees. The right side would not fit my 2006 Goldwing. The side throttle grip fitted forward perfectly, but the hole on the back of the grip was uneven so I couldn't install them on my bike. I had to return them for a refund. The seller was very nice.

Heated grips work great.

My only issue with this aftermarket heated grip kit is the control module. It's a cheap-looking square of plastic that seems designed to be attached to any suitable surface with double-sided tape, with unsightly wires dangling from it. A friend and I were able to find a professional looking wiring harness solution, but what worked on my bike may not work on other brands of bikes. In terms of features, the heated grips work great.

Will not work on GL 1800 with factory heated grips. .

I knew they wouldn't "plug and play" with a factory grip regulator, but they don't say you have to order a factory grip for the throttle to work. ! The handles are supplied without a matching sleeve. I discovered this after removing the rubber from the original grips as per the instructions. The grip on the right is original, with throttle cable brackets, the left is new. The new grip has a plastic sleeve that doesn't slide over the original. The only solution Show Chrome can offer (they admit…

The heated grips are well made and easy to fit

The heated grips look good and are easy to fit. However, when I was almost done with the installation, I found that the glue that came with the installation kit was old and hard and tough. When I called customer service and told them the glue was defective and asked them to send me a new bottle of glue, the answer was basically no. At this point I got mad and asked them if they would be willing to lose a customer for a dollar bottle of glue and they almost said yes. come pre packed and if they…
