Works well, a bit messy

Works well but you still need a tarp, I gave up on it halfway through the first job and just used plastic to cover everything. The second use was about the same, the shield will collect the paint and it will flow out so you have to be careful or it will drip. It helps a little, but it's no substitute for covering things you don't want to paint.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Everything is great

Amazing Blanket Roller

I hate painting blankets! At first I wasn't sure how useful it would be, but I decided to give it a try. In fact, I was very surprised at how well it worked. I assumed there would be at least some drips, but the paint never dripped on me. Something squirted, but nothing big. If you hate painting ceilings, this is a great tool to make the job easier!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Frequency

Went like clockwork! The angle is adjustable.

Best small drawing device. Took the previous reviewer's advice and used a cotton swab with olive oil to lubricate the plastic so the friction doesn't ruin where it rolls. We painted 1200 square meters of walls and ceilings and had no problems with it. One thing to know that doesn't say on the box, you can adjust the angle on the handle.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Good but not great

I will only use the reel seat, no spray!

I get this second if I can convince someone to draw with me! That's great, you won't get paint splatters all over the place. I can't imagine using any other reel seat. From time to time/rarely you adjust the angle so that you (or afterwards!) don't scratch the paintwork with the lid. Easy to fix after cleaning, simply adjust and roll over the stain. I'm surprised they make other roller coasters at all.

Cons
  • Crumpled

Not worth it Good for paint roller frames

I like that this product protects against paint splatter but I probably wouldn't buy it again. It was more painful to work with him. This product allows you to adjust the angle of the paint roller/strainer, which becomes a problem because it doesn't always keep the angle and the angle of the paint roller may adjust or change by itself during painting if you repeatedly apply too much pressure. This gets annoying and can really ruin your painting. It also came with a cheap reel. I didn't care. I…

Good for preventing drips when painting the ceiling

Roll Cover is a great idea, it really minimizes water drips when painting the ceiling. Cover with it and I feel half and half. Pros: It prevents drips. Disadvantages: Somehow the action of the roller is not so smooth, and the action of the roller is much worse than a normal home bearing roller. As a result, I got uneven rollers. I had to paint the same area multiple times due to a mismatch. I ended up going back to a regular uncoated roller and it works much better.

It really works on walls and ceilings.

I loved everything about this product. I painted the entire interior of my house with it and haven't used anything else to spray! It saved so much time. I had to order it online after I moved and found that Home Depot and Lowes were out of stock so I ordered two from Revain. The head rotates to conform to walls or ceilings or to load color. From time to time I would stop and take it off and just clean up any areas where there was too much paint. not often compared to shedding rags and all. The…

Very good but not perfect

As others have said it is still advisable to use a rag as the paint catches and drips very well. I primed and painted drywall under a 2 to 10 foot stairwell. Didn't get any splashes on my glasses but did see a few drips on the concrete floor. The adjustable head and extension worked very well at all heights. I'm only concerned about removing the roller due to the hardness of the plastic, but I pryed carefully and didn't break anything. less dirty. I usually use a jet from a garden hose nozzle…

High quality and hard to find

I was hesitant to buy it based on some other reviews but I'm glad it didn't stop me and here is my experience. Firstly, this is one of the few scooters you can buy with mudguards (which I needed). It did an EXCELLENT job and I (personally) had no issues with the spatter pooling on the guard and turning into drips like some others. My advice is to put less paint on the roller. Which brings me to my next plus, which is that you can use 1/2" knobbed rollers on it. It says it's rated for 3/8" but…
