MIC HOLDER OF ALL MIC HOLDERS (slightly exaggerated)

This is NOT compatible with any brand of mixer, treat, pool accessory or audio book. because it is a microphone holder. I just wanted to make sure we're all on the same page and nobody's going to screw things up. Works EXACTLY as described. My mic sticks like a two year old in a candy store. No complaints.

Excellent! to wireless handheld microphones

YUP! got mine in two days with PRIME! . . Thank you Rewin! . . . Purchased for use with Shure Unidyne III 545SD (older model with wired mic). The mic and cable fit the clip very tightly, but the mic won't fall out! Of course, Shure quality and value are second to none, and the durability (the "unbreakable” claim) will pay off over time. Great price, fast delivery!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Shorter cable than other models

Shure 58 Series Mic Clip

Not much to write here. This is a microphone clip made by Shure for the legendary SM58 and Beta58 (and possibly other models) microphones. They're as solid as they come and match their mics well. I have yet to break one but we added another mic so I bought 2 to keep one as a spare in case or add it to another stand as we like. If you have a 58 mic and need a stand clip, buy this.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

In the end, save money by buying good clips

Here is a microphone clip. Don't worry about cheaper mic clips, you'll end up throwing them away and still buy these. I've been trying to make a deal but the sad fact is that a decent mic clip doesn't come cheap. NONE of these have broken me in 8 years of monthly gigs. I didn't remove the brass thread insert, they snap off on cheap clips that are just plastic.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Fits VERY snugly to the SHURE PG58 mic

Seems well built but I thought it would be easy to slide the mic into the mount and then pull it out. Unfortunately, the SHURE PG58 mic is VERY tight, even though the label says it fits this mic. I can't just plug and unplug the mic. I have to hold the stand and then either put the mic in or take it out. The fit would be much better if the holder was about 1/8 inch larger in diameter. I wonder if there is a way to make it bigger.

Doesn't fit my SM58

What does it do? I have a Shure SM58 mic so I bought this Shure A25D holder which clearly says it's for the Shure SM58. But the microphone doesn't fit! I push it as far as I can, but it only goes in about an inch if I push really hard. (See image.) And no performer will be able to pull it out of its mount when it's so tight. Am I missing something here? The holder seems stronger and stronger than a similar unbranded holder I bought (which also didn't fit). Disappointed.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Protection

Good Assurance: Handheld Wireless Microphones

I have purchased several used Shure mics and needed stands for them. I used to take tripod adapters for granted and never paid attention to their details. When I went shopping I was surprised at how much decent ones cost. These A25D adapters sit right next to other big brands in terms of value, but unlike some others, they seem built to last. After purchasing and using them I was very impressed with how well they fit and hold an SM57 or SM58. They appear to be made out of thicker, more durable…
