These are direct replacement clips for original Shure mic clips that came with original lavalier microphones. They attach to the cable just below the microphone. These clips from Shure work great with the Shure WL93 lavalier mic and possibly other lavalier mics. However, I have two problems with them. The wire is difficult to insert into the terminal. You really need a small flathead screwdriver to get it all the way in. Be careful as the WL93 wire is quite thin. The other issue I have is that the clip is pretty brittle overall.
