Fantastic alternative for a variety of doors. I used it for my WAG drawer and in another way I used it horizontally instead of vertically on top of the door as it seems very high and my rollator couldn't reach it. This other alternative is great

This is a solid part - heavy steel that can also be installed sideways, better if the clearance is close to the top of the door. A small hole in the base allows for secure attachment with a pan head screw. Mine is attached from the side of the hinges. Fits 99% of key safes.

I took it out of the box and immediately noticed that it folds easily by hand. If a thief wants to break into a safe, they can take a few turns, pry it open completely, and just take the safe to a quiet place and take their time breaking it open.

The theme speaks for itself. Although the entire unit was placed ABOVE the door, it was not possible to close the door to use this device. The only way out was to cut out the top of the door. This was unfortunate as it is a steel security door. I don't have the time, patience, energy or tools for this, so this item is sitting in a drawer in the garage. Maybe one day I'll find something I can use it for.
