As for the pens, I don't think they're bad. Some pens didn't work as well as others which was very disappointing. They would be perfect if they had a sharper tip, it's a rounded pen tip so it's difficult to get into hard-to-reach places. You can pull out and flip the tip to get a thinner tip, but it's very fragile, making it difficult to use. If you apply any force, it will just collapse. All in all I would probably buy them again.

It remains to be seen whether they are worthwhile; Each of the 30 pins is shrink-wrapped so it may take 2 minutes to remove each pin. Each pen then requires 2 minutes of vigorous shaking to "wake up" the color in the pen. THEN each pen tip needs to be pressed against the paper for another 2 minutes until the awakened ink can penetrate the pen tip. 30 pens, each up to 6 minutes prep time. YES, it was annoying and gross. Maybe they're worth it.
