This turned out to be a perfect purchase. It has an understated elegance. Sturdy, functional and easy to carry, it offers a safe and convenient place to store my favorite pens. He is with me everywhere. I couldn't be happier.

This works great when the valve is cut big enough to fit under the belt. Installed this way, the strap keeps the valve closed, preventing pens and pocket knives from getting enough sleep while riding. But with a short flap, it can be opened and closed while still in the pocket.

This worked fine for my intended use although it doesn't look like real leather. There is no leather smell, it actually has a plastic smell. It's shiny and tough and not at all " soft, that's how a pen should be.If it was more expensive I would definitely return it.But it feels strong so I will use it.
