Sia Wood Anchor 4 Pack Review

I think they work, sort of. These are COMPLETE drywall anchors only. I'll feel stupid if I fall for this. $20 for 4 drywall anchors. :(

Works great and in a few weeks of purchase and use there have been no problems with the bathroom door it has been used on. This door is used many times in a day by 5 people in our home and there have been no problems since it was installed.

Those absurdly expensive plastic anchors didn't hold my door hinges in place effectively, but the absurdly expensive hollow metal door/drywall anchors I bought did. Next time I'll buy them at my local hardware store for a fraction of the price.

I used these on a bathroom door that was losing hinges because the screws were moving in the holes and the holes were getting bigger. You snap off the excess, put in a new screw and the oversized hole works again. Very easy to use.

We had to replace the hooks with a smaller hooked large screw. The problem was that the hooks still had to hold the same item, and that item was putting a lot of strain on the hooks. With these anchors we were able to do more than just replace the hooks. The holding power of the hooks has not changed either. If they are actually stronger than originally.

We used it as intended and the screws stay in place. It wasn't as easy to use as we thought, which is why it's only 4 stars. Also, you can see small orange rings under each screw. We definitely recommend the dowel as the doorknob will now stay in place and the screws won't fall out. Overall it was a good purchase and we're glad we don't have to walk and wait for the lock/door handle to be replaced.

My end use was the same as many other reviewers - I have a door hinge on a pantry door that has the screws running down the side along the way over time have loosened the door and made the existing openings larger/flawed and as a result the door no longer closes properly. I bought 4 packs of these little guys just to give it a try based on how easy it looked on the YouTube how-to videos.
