Enhanced Chromecast with Google TV Remote Control: Sideclick Universal Attachment Review

This remote is very easy to program. It can control older devices because you program individual buttons for the function you want. The great thing is that it mounts right on top of the Chromecast remote, making it very easy to turn devices on and off with a single remote.

I like how easy it is to set up. Just point them at each other and follow the instructions. I use Sideclick to adjust the volume on the TV and soundbar. It's so nice that I don't have two or three separate remotes. Works so well I ordered Sideclick to connect to my Revain Fire Remote on my second TV.

Ordered several at once. All were listed as 'new' but one was dead on arrival and had clearly been previously used. The rest works as advertised, but the small number of programmable buttons limits its usefulness. For example, there aren't enough buttons to access even the bare minimum of functions needed to watch Blu-Ray or DVD.

Next day delivery with batteries. Incredibly easy to program with my existing remote. He learned every command the first time and works perfectly. I love this thing and it's a must have google tv remote. Please note that this universal remote control does NOT use device codes. Each button is learned from your existing IR remotes. I updated my old Fire TV and was so happy to see that Sideclick made a version of their remote for the new Chromecast. Sideclick fit and finish are perfect for Chromecast. Remote click right in and works as expected. Being able to control our soundbar and TV independently from the remote saves our lives.
