Not Worth the Investment for Cyclists

These shoes could be the biggest waste of money yet. Despite purchasing the suggested size, these shoes required a considerable amount of break-in time and still ended up giving me painful blisters. The snug fit was supposed to be a benefit, but it ended up making the shoe uncomfortable for cycling. While they look nice, it's a major con that they aren't very functional for sports and outdoors.

Pros
  • Durable and high-quality materials
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other cycling shoes on the market

SIDI MTB Defender: Athletic

The shoes are very comfortable. It's easy to leave when you're forced too. Shortcoming: I've only had the shoe for a short time, but the lacing often has to be tightened.

Cons
  • Problems

Very happy with this solution

I've been a Sidi fan for a while. MX boots and mountain bike shoes. A size 44 is a little tight in MX boots due to the narrow toe box, and my previous size 45 mountain bike boots were a little too big. I went for a 44 in this shoe and it fits perfectly. I usually have 10 in most shoes. Hope that helps. They are stiff on the pedals and are comfortable to walk in when not cycling. They are comfortable from the start and the holding device works quickly and easily. I couldn't be happier.

Cons
  • Socket required
