Arrived quickly and appears to be working well. There's nothing more to say - it's a thermostat that opens and closes on demand.

What can I say. it is part of the engine. Throw it away and it works or not. This works just as well as the more expensive OEM. Maintains a very stable engine temperature in the Mercruiser 3.0 liter 4 banger with a raw water cooling system.

I installed this thermostat on my son's 1976 Viking deck boat with a Chevrolet Mercruiser in-line 6 engine. The work perfectly meets expectations. My only regret is that I didn't order a new thermostat housing gasket. The thermostat is delivered without a new seal. I removed the case with the utmost care and reused the original gasket.
