Simple Solution for Oil Drainage

After trying several different oil drain kits, I decided to give this one a try for my automotive needs. As a result of my tests, I determined that this kit is easy to use and does the job effectively. The installation process was a breeze and the durable materials gave me peace of mind that it will last me for years to come. The downside is that the hose could be a bit longer for some car models. Overall, I would recommend this oil drain kit for those who want a simple solution for their oil…

Pros
  • Easy to use and effective
Cons
  • Hose could be longer

Fits 1989 Mercruiser 4.3 V6 oil pan.

For 1989 Mercruiser 4.3 V6 oil pan. Doesn't stick to the oil pan. I had to add a washer to make it tighter. Just keep an eye on it when you take it into the water.

Pros
  • Stainless steel hose fittings
Cons
  • Style 90

Not suitable for my engine; Mercruiser 5.7L (250hp) in a 2002 Bayliner

I don't pay attention to the part itself but it didn't fit my boat (2002 Bayliner). My boat has a 5.7L (250hp) Mercruiser with very little engine clearance. I ended up buying another kit (metric thread) and it fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Unit sized to fit through most common hull drains
Cons
  • Plenty
