Initially a pleasant strong chemical smell.

After being taken out and ventilated from the chemical smell, they have done their job. One size for people of average height. They did not break when caught or pulled by small children. The only thing is that the velcro doesn't last very long and there is only one that holds them together. If you're looking for something like lightning, this would be the best.

You get what you pay for.

They are quite small and very light. I bought them for a social event and the volunteer park attendants didn't even want to use them because they looked cheap. They just chose the vests we had before, even if they weren't enough. I think they do the job when worn by teenagers. I can't see anyone carrying this heavier.

Very light, very bright!

. User: Rescue Team Company - VERY bright, stripes VERY reflective - Extremely light weight. Has a 3 inch velcro to close the front. It would be nice to have some small strips along the front to hold it in place a little better. Has a 5 1/2 inch elastic on both sides making it easy to use for people up to size XL. If you are small, this is where the multi-layer Velcro closure comes in handy. The network is strong and does not yield to tension; so it doesn't stretch. Overall a great product for…
