Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I have been using this lens for about six months: at first I was given out for work, and now I bought myself a personal one. If you're looking for a lens for real estate, architecture, landscapes, or just a beautiful wide picture, then at this price point, the sigma 10-20 is probably the best option. The angle is wide enough to fit the whole room, but there is no unnecessary curvature on the sides like a fisheye, the picture is pleasing in quality. There are people who think: "well, I already…

    Pros
    • - Fast enough for its class - Good build - Strong autofocus - Very wide angle without distortion like a fisheye
    Cons
    • - Expensive filters due to large diameter - The price of a new lens in stores bites a little

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

The lens makes a solid impression, I liked the ergonomics and work during shooting. Has some pros Very wide even on the crop! Massive and monolithic. Soft-touch coating feels good in the hand. Sharp and grippy autofocus, moreover, quiet. Blend included. The Sigmava plug on the bayonet - better than the Nikkorov one - sits like a glove and does not hang out. The movement of the rings is smooth and clear. Has cons: Haven't revealed yet. Unless it could cost less. I took for 20.3k. There are

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I am VERY pleased with the purchase. I just walk around the city along the old routes and completely different views open up! With its pros. Very sharp and clear lens. Really wide angle without the usual barrel provides completely new opportunities for fine art photography. The architecture looks wild and unusual, everything becomes gigantic, and yet all straight lines remain straight. A constant aperture is also a nice thing, although for such a wide angle it is difficult to find a scene…

    BEST UWA lens.

If you can't afford a more expensive lens, PLEASE do yourself a favor and buy this one. I LOVE this lens! For a storm photographer, this is a dream come true.

Great lens for real estate photography

I love this lens and that's why it's my #1 customer in real estate photography. I jumped at it when I saw the lens on sale and it's one of the smartest purchases I've ever made. I bought it mainly for real estate photography, especially for shooting in tight spaces to get more space. My regular 18-300mm zoom walking lens is pretty good for photographing rooms at the widest angle, but the ability to zoom out to 10mm was very helpful when photographing closets, kitchens, bathrooms, whether tall…

Great lens for real estate photography

Lens fits my Canon 3200 perfectly as expected. It definitely made a big difference in my photos without creating too much distortion (no fisheye effects just a nice wide angle view) . I have included 3 views of one of my listings so you can see the difference between the wide angle with the kit lens and the wide angle with this Sigma 10-20mm lens. Please note that the lighting was different on the day I used the Sigma lens and these photos have been processed but not cropped for online viewing.

    • Easy to read panel

    Suitable for full frame sensors

So I made the mistake of buying this lens for my full frame Canon 5D Mark II camera. My other lens is a 24-70mm zoom and I needed a wider angle for indoor shots. From the start I liked the wide angle with low distortion, but I did notice vignetting and realized I had ordered the wrong lens. POOH! After doing a little research, I found that a similar lens for my camera would cost at least three times as much as this one. I thought I'd have to return this one and just put up with the fact that I…

Long range, clear images, reliable processing quality!

When people ask for an ultra wide angle lens recommendation, they often try to decide between the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 and the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5. I tested the two lenses side by side and chose the Sigma 10-20mm for a number of reasons: 1. Extra range2. Best manual focus ring 3. Unusual "starbursts" when shooting against the sun4. Very durable construction. I've taken many great photos in the US and abroad with this lens. Unfortunately, earlier this year my kayak capsized in a Florida river and…

    Excellent results on DSLR lenses

I've had this wonderful lens for about eight months now and although it doesn't often pop out of my bag when I need or want a VERY wide angle The Sigma 10-20mm capture f/3.5 is unparalleled. The color and contrast it offers without post-processing is truly amazing. Every picture has a noticeable "click", even if the subject is very boring. F/3.5 is more expensive than its slower sibling, but I don't regret spending the extra money on a constant aperture. One less problem in bad light…

An excellent lens for its price.

If you are looking for an ultra wide-angle lens at an affordable price, the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 is a good choice. It's not a fisheye, so straight lines stay straight. However, the same caveat applies here as with all wide-angle lenses. Do not photograph people on the sides of the frame with this lens as there is a higher chance of distortion. People in the middle are best photographed with an ultra wide-angle lens. For wide-angle newbies like me, one of the tips I've received when shooting with

    Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

I am an amateur photographer with about 20 years of experience, I read previous reviews and it’s just funny to me, you see, real photographers don’t leave reviews here. So listen, firstly, to compare wide-angle and portrait lenses Nikkor 35mm1.8 or 50mm1.8 of the G series in sharpness stupid and stupid, of course they have other tasks and goals that are sharper. The Sigma 10-20mm is an excellent lens for architectural, artwork, landscapes, etc. Secondly, sharpness can be corrected in the…

    Pros
    • Great widescreen!

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

I bought this lens for traveling while on vacation. I tried many different models, but I liked this one from the very beginning, after I took it in my hands. The seller praised it as one of the best in its class and very suitable for my purposes. From a technical point of view, I did not immediately like it. I expected better from a lens for the price. Previously, I used Nikon's fixes of the G series with aperture ratio of 1.8. But after a week of training and after I found out that the…

    Pros
    • - good range of focal lengths. Of course, I would like it to be a little more, but this range is acceptable in order to photograph the city, landscapes, etc. - constant luminosity. I don't think it needs an explanation. - high-quality assembly - nice to touch :) - quite sharp compared to competitors - in my unprofessional opinion, I did not find any distortions in the pictures (except for the barrel, of course, at a focus of 10-14 mm).
    Cons
    • - the biggest minus and perhaps the only thing you can pay attention to is that I had to adjust the sharpness with the camera (in the lens settings) as much as minus 12. - weight and price, of course, are also a minus, but I don’t think that this can be avoided. Cheaper lenses shoot less well. Approximately the same from Nikon is already more expensive, but did not compare.

The product is really good, I'm glad I purchased it.

I am an amateur, therefore my review is not professional, namely amateur. I needed a wide-angle lens at an affordable price and quality. Oh, I thought for a very long time whether I needed it or not, took a chance, bought it. I do not regret the purchase. I read a lot of reviews, there are negative ones. But I liked the lens. The pictures are of good quality in terms of sharpness and color. The focus does not miss, although the lens was not tested, but simply bought the first one that was…

    Pros
    • Wide angle. Good luminosity. Autofocus. Pleasant to the touch, does not slip, everything is assembled very high quality. Made in Japan.
    Cons
    • A little noisy. There are HA, but in FS everything is removed instantly. Expensive filters.
