and that's great. Very minimal distortion

I use this for architectural photography and it's great. Very minimal distortion. It picks up flair easily, but I think it's common to all wide-angle lenses.

I love this lens. suitable for photography and photography

I love this lens. On the right body - 5d Mark II or higher - this is understandable and just a wonderful pleasure. as always a cheaper alternative to some lenses of the well-known brands Canon or Nikon.

Amazing lens, the best of lenses

This lens is quite unusual for a full frame camera like my Canon 5DmkII. Some like to think it's only great for landscapes, but I've had great results for portraits. Especially for fashion and really weird but cool shots. Highly recommended. It's also pretty damn sharp for a regular lens.-MigsVuitton.com/blog

Great wide angle lens!

I bought this lens specifically for real estate and architecture photography. It was excellent. I didn't have a single complaint about the lens for the price - can't be beat! It works great with a tripod when shooting long exposures for multiple exposures. I love this lens! I look forward to landscape and other wide-angle shots!

Without a doubt my favorite lens

I first used this lens after renting it to use with my Canon 5D Mark II on an overland trip. After the first hour of shooting with it, I knew I had to buy it. I'm not sure what's so special about this lens, but it seems to bring photos to life more than any of my other lenses, no matter what focal length I use it at or what subject. I'm a broke college student so it took me a lot of time and effort to get the bank to give me a loan just so I could buy this lens, but it was definitely worth it…

Wow. Great lens! Best in Camera & Photo

Luckily for me the price of this lens has gone up significantly since I bought it as I begin this review. My first experience with the Sigma was a hundred years ago with the 28-300 I in front of the camera. The barrel was canned oil and the quality of the picture was mediocre. I needed this lens to shoot interior and exterior renovations of a house as part of a commission. First impression when unpacking. Wow. This is a different lens than my first Sigma. The lens makes a solid and well-made…

Unique ultra wide angle lens but poor quality control Sigma

Nothing else suitable for use with full frame 35mm cameras or digital cameras like the Canon 5D. At full frame, it's so wide you can almost see behind you (well, not quite, but close to a 180-degree field of view). It's not a fisheye, so straight lines stay straight. There is some vignetting at 12mm, but it's less than my Canon 17-40 L lens at 17mm. This lens pushes the limits of physics so it's not as sharp as some lenses, but it captures a much larger field of view and delivers sharp images…
