Everything superfluous is meaningless

I like this lens, it's worth buying, but taking it as a kit was a mistake. Most of what came with it wasn't particularly good or easy to use and it just added more clutter to my home. I recommend buying the lens separately and choosing accessories based on your needs.

My new favorite go-to lens.

Like many content creators, I have a lot of lenses, mostly Canon lenses because I shoot with Canon cameras. I heard about this lens and decided to try it. O MY WORD! It quickly became my favorite lens! I use it for YouTube videos, client projects and even live streaming. Perfect bokeh, lightweight and fits my Canon M50 without an adapter. Highly recommended!

This lens will take your Canon M50 to the next level

I am so impressed with the quality of this lens, not only the build quality but the amazing images! This lens is almost always on my Canon M50. Sorry about my other lens! The focus ring is buttery smooth when you have it in manual mode. Aperture 1.4 gives you a nice blurred background. It was a pleasure for Sigma to include a lens hood, a nice touch!

Lens is cool, accessories are rubbish

Backpack and inflatable inserts are rubbish and not even good. Waste of material and landfill space. I have a different sigma prime and I knew it would be great and it is. The lens itself is 5/5 but deducted a star for poor adjustments. I'd rather spend the same money on just the lens so I don't waste energy, time and space on accessories that will eat up the junk. Sorry to be harsh, but selling them as accessories is an attempt to fool me. A person buying a $400 lens probably won't want to…

Great lens for Canon M50

This is really a great lens for Canon M50. Internal stabilization is lacking, but the camera more than makes up for it. A good tripod doesn't hurt either! The rest of the kit that comes with the foldable airbag backpack is a unique idea. The backpack isn't very rigid as it's completely soft without the airbag deployed, but I find it very convenient to have the camera on the bottom and the drone on the top half when I'm going straight out and want to travel light. The small hand tripod is very…

Crisp quality and great lens in low light

I used a Canon m50 as my main camera for a while and wanted to save a full frame camera and lens for smaller apertures and low light work. I saw reviews for this lens on youtube and decided to give it a try before buying a brand new system. I have to say I'm incredibly impressed. The 16mm focal length is perfect for an APSC camera, and the f/1.4 aperture allowed us to shoot in near total darkness and still recover some detail in post-production. An absolute must for an inexpensive camera/lens…

  • Small parts

The Sigma lens I received today has damage on the inside of the front glass element (small scratch). At first I thought it was just a mark on the surface of the glass, but it's not. I have contacted the seller (DIGITAL GOJA) and am still waiting for his response. I'm just an amateur not a professional making money off this camera. It's just not right that they send me a defective product for my hard earned money. Update: Today (01/03/2021) I finally received my interchangeable lens. It is in…
