The lens I bought for my Sony camera from this brand was a huge disappointment. According to my experience, the image quality was subpar and the autofocus was slow and noisy. It made me miss some perfect shots during a family trip. On top of it, the electronics were not up to date with what other brands offer at this price range. I recently switched to primes because they are sharper than zoom lenses, bought this lens as a general purpose lens but was amazed at its sharpness and accuracy, this could be my new lens. Highly recommended.

Quite a lot of distortion (pincushion and barrel) so don't forget to turn on lens correction. Excellent autofocus and I think it's the price for the size. Look at reviews and do your research to find out what you can afford and where you're willing to compromise.
