I love this lens. He brings everything into the picture. The images are good and sharp on my D800. If you want the autofocus to work, you'll need a higher quality Nikon body with a screw-drive autofocus motor.

Great for 360° work, seems overpriced for such an old design. The camera uses an autofocus motor, so make sure your camera is rated to work with the D810 but is slow to seek focus.

I use this lens to take hemispherical (180 degree) coastal photos for work to determine the level of shade in the tree canopy, this is just what I need and it works great. Note that for a Type-C sensor you need a Sigma 4.5, not an 8mm (full frame) sensor. Both lenses are excellent for this type of work.

I am using this lens with a Canon EOS 6D (ex 5D) full frame camera and my previous fisheye lens was a Peleng 3.5/8mm. The optical quality of the Sigma is really excellent compared to the bearing.
