Worked as expected with 6 " TORCHSTAR 18W LED

These were used to attach 3/8" metal shielded electrical wire to 6" TORCHSTAR 18W LED junction boxes. You could easily use a 1/2 -Bypass inch cable.Very well done.

Not for aluminum cables

The aluminum armored cables I bought (also from Revain) warn against using this type of connector so I sent them back. They work well with steel, but with aluminum they will pierce armor when fully clamped and this can cause a short circuit.

The hole is still larger than I would like, despite the manufacturer's recommendation that they are suitable for this.

I use these to work with Armorlite 14/2 cable. The hole is still larger than I would like, despite the manufacturer's recommendation that they are suitable for this type of cable. I am rewiring at our church camp and have tried many Armorlite cable clamps but none of them work well. They at least hold the cable well and shouldn't fall out of the clamp like some of the other fittings I've used. I would like something better, but they do a good job.
