With caution - notebook

The docking station has no power supply; So it cannot power your laptop. If your laptop can be powered by another method, you're good to go. Otherwise, your laptop battery will eventually run out. I understand now. But it was an expensive lesson. But until my laptop died, it was the perfect solution for my dual monitors. This allowed maximum resolution for both, unlike the docking station, which I gave up after buying a second monitor.

Massive waste of money. Doesn't work at all.

Sorry, this product does not work. I've tried everything that was recommended and spent the day checking what could be done and even hired someone to install for me and let me know what I'm missing. I was told it doesn't work.

It may have been cheaper, but it was reliable and functional.

This was the cheapest Thunderbolt Dock dongle I could find and it may not have many buttons and whistles but it does have two HDMI and Ethernet ports and that's it I wish my laptop didn't come with ethernet so this was a fantastic addition. Has worked perfectly since I bought it 6 months ago. I can only say good things about him.

Low quality product coupled with the most unreliable customer service ever.

I've had problems with this dock for the last 4 months, it makes my monitors flicker and turns off the screen layout. It didn't really matter as he only did it once a week or so out of the blue but has since stopped working completely. I've contacted tech support many times, opened service tickets, left voice messages, submitted a replacement request as per their recommendations, and made no decision. I would not recommend this product one jot.

Weak USBC Cable - Computers and Accessories

I had this about a year ago - and loved it - but now it's starting to disconnect and hiss due to a bent connector cable. For those who have little space to connect, I recommend purchasing a Thunderbolt extension cable so as not to kink the cable to the laptop. Disappointing to have to spend so much money again so quickly

Dual 4k at 60 fps doesn't work for my 2019 Macbook Pro

I have two 4k monitors that support 60 fps on my computer but this box does NOT support them both with the promised FPS. When both monitors are connected to the hub, one gets stuck at 30Hz and the other at 60Hz. This is definitely a limitation of the hub; If I just connect one monitor to the hub and the other directly to the computer I get two 4k@60hz. Perhaps this limitation only applies to the extended Mac OS desktop, but I doubt most home/office users will use a mirrored setup. There were…
