Finally baking mats that look great and work great! I've been looking for some for ages but never liked the way they looked. The non-slip side of the mat is particularly functional. I have never used baking mats but this is a game changer. These rugs are very high quality and look great in my kitchen. Washing is so easy - just pop it in the dishwasher and you're done. I have recommended them to all my friends. They're packaged in a stylish mesh pouch that can be used for other things - a nice bonus. I will definitely order more. They are ideal for any baker looking to reduce costs and/or parchment paper waste. A little tricky to hand wash but worth it! I have used these baking and freezing mats with no wear or drop in performance. I really wish they could use more heat, but most of my baking sheets are cookies anyway. I love my The Silicone Kitchen bakeware and have wanted silicone baking sheets for a long time. I've tried, but I'm not sure I would make a parchment paper substitute. They are difficult to keep clean as dust and small particles stick to them and some products leave stains. I can't use more than 350 degrees as they smoke very heavily and set off the alarm. Also, they give off a strange smell in the oven, so I've decided to return them.

Just started baking again. After using it once, I washed it in the dishwasher as stated in the product description. Every time I use them in baking, the food tastes like soap. I've tried everything to rid my confectionery of the weird taste and nothing has worked. I'm not sure what else to do. At this point I'm half thinking about throwing them away, which is a complete waste of time. What a complete disappointment.

I bought these to use with the bamboo cutting board on my granite countertop. I needed something to keep the cutting board in place during use and it works really well.
