Smells terrible:

Third wash, once by hand, twice in the dishwasher, still smells like cheap plastic. If it still stinks after #4, it's trash. Still stinks. BTW, only regular sized cupcakes, not huge ones, won't use this if I can't get rid of the stink.

Pros
  • casserole dish is awesome!
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Baking Pans

Reverse Pineapple Muffins prepared in them. All I did was spray PAM and fill each holder. I didn't use muffin cups. When I inverted the pan to get the cupcakes out, they came out very easily. I really liked it, a pity I bought two instead of one.

Pros
  • Test Results Stable
Cons
  • Not Sure

Place on a baking sheet

I needed a 6 cup muffin pan now as our kids have moved and this was the only one available. I was a bit reluctant to buy it because I'm not that into silicone in the kitchen. It bakes great and releases cupcakes great, but you have to put it on a baking sheet to get it in and out of the oven as it's very thin and doesn't bend well. I would have preferred a metal pan, but that's how it is.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some cons

The silicone cupcake mold works as promised!

Silicone cupcake mold as promised! I just baked my first batch and the muffins came out with total ease. I decided to drizzle with coconut oil before pouring out the contents. However, this may not have been necessary. Also, I love the fact that each cake hole is deeper than other cake pans, which prevents spills and works well at 350 degrees.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Wrongly advertised as food grade

There is a simple test called the pinch test to determine if a manufacturer is selling real food grade silicone or is it cheap and adding toxic plastic fillers to the product. Unfortunately, it failed the test, meaning it's not pure silicone, it's plastic, probably toxic fillers. False advertising! Buyer warning! I will come back for something more valuable. This probably explains the bad smell that other people felt in their reviews.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Almost ok

I do not recommend. Too thin.

I wanted to love this cute cupcake mold. My first foray was cornbread muffins. Even with two hands, getting this thing in and out of the oven was almost impossible! Gone are the days when I could just pop 12 cupcakes in the oven and close the door. I was sweating trying to keep this thing from tipping over all 4 corners and dropping muffin goo on the bottom of the oven. I only filled it with water to show in the photo how completely unstable it is. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great for a quick clean but be careful

A lot of people like this product - the silicone makes it very easy to remove product (even without pre-spraying on the mold) and very easy to clean. I actually threw away my other cupcake pans after using them because I couldn't keep cleaning them and food was still sticking to them. A fall - and it is quite large - is very fragile. The first time I used it I almost lost a whole batch of cupcakes because it would flap back and forth even with two hands once it was in the air. If you don't…

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Too dull
